Mikel Diez
In Fall, 2008, Mikel Diez begins a Postdoctoral Fellow appointment at the University of Bristol (UK) where he will work on models of magma ascent and melt generation in arc environments, working with Professor Steve Sparks. This research is an extension of his work on diapiric rise of magmas from sills in the San Rafael volcanic field, Utah, and the numerical models he developed as a doctoral candidate at USF.
